UG School Students Achieve Success at the GENIUS Olympiad

Members of UG School’s chemistry club Chemfield — Merab Samkharashvili and Nikoloz Chechelashvili — have achieved significant international success . They secured first place at the GENIUS Olympiad, hosted this year by the University of Georgia (UG), with their research project  “Cold Rocket Engine” .

The students presented an innovative research project focused on the study and practical modeling of a cold rocket engine concept based on energy-efficient and safe principles . Their work was highly praised for both its scientific approach and practical implementation .

Notably, on June 9, with the support of the University of Georgia, Merab Samkharashvili and Nikoloz Chechelashvili will travel to the United States , where they will represent Georgia at the international stage of the Olympiad 🇬🇪.
