We are delighted to announce that UG School student Ana Mtsariashvili has been selected for The Junior Academy, an international program of the New York Academy of Sciences!
The Junior Academy brings together STEM-minded students from around the world, empowering them to work on real-world challenges in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and develop innovative solutions.
During the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, participants will have the opportunity to work on important challenges such as:
BrainTech designing brain-focused technologies and innovations that could help people regain mobility and support the early detection of diseases;
Climatizing Infrastructure: Green Retrofit developing innovative solutions to make existing infrastructure more energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable.
As part of the program, Ana will become a member of a global community, collaborating with talented students and mentors from around the world to tackle important challenges and develop innovative ideas.
